HR Construction completed a full-scale renovation of the historic St. James building in the Gaslamp district of downtown San Diego to include (122) guestrooms and corridors, lobby, meeting space, restaurant/bar, basement, elevator cabs, and a rooftop. The scope of the project included replacement of all original waste/vent piping stacks, fire alarm system upgrade, new TPO roof, exterior painting, historic window replacement, installation of in-room AC units along with new millwork, paint, flooring, plumbing, lighting, and tile finished throughout. Truly a transformation of one of the most iconic buildings in San Diego.
