Construction Manager
The client’s primary focus should be on the management and growth of their core businesses and not on the construction of their next facility. Assuming the client does not have an in-house development team then to achieve this, the client must be able to rely on a trusted 3rd-party representative who will oversee the development process on their behalf and with their best interests constantly in the forefront of the representative’s mind. HRCG provides such services to many clients that are lacking a local or regional presence. These repeat clients have ample faith and confidence in HRCG and our ability to work with or directly manage a design team that they do not see a need bring aboard a construction manager (“CM”). While CM services are incredibly useful in the proper situation, HRCG’s professional project management teams are capable of servicing the dual-role positions of GC and CM, thereby eliminating an additional layer of costs and communication issues for the client.
In a reverse situation, HRCG is capable of performing work outside of the mid-Atlantic. In such instances when clients rely upon more than just our GC skills and abilities, we subsequently serve the role of CM ‘At Risk’. However, in other instances, clients look to us simply for general consulting and oversight services of a separate GC in which case we serve the formal role as CM ‘As Agent’.
